    they have to add weight to their GTR’s at the races ask one who knows about the GTR’s going into the races at the track but don’t include the new GTR’s, talking about the RB26 inline 6 those were forced to add weight to their cars on the track cause they would always win but look for april 08 or 09 bro i am not sure i will save your user name its a small artcile with an R32 or R33 i will send it to you man its not a lie or trying to be an ass ricer but just bumbed me when read that.

    yea mna i had never heard of these competitions either until i read like a 1 year old car and driver magazine and thats were i read it and honestly was astounded to know why nissan have a big curb weight disadvantage =( and govern power n speed.. when they come to the states.

    can someone explain why the corvette driver started in 2nd gear? lol look at 1:39 100 km/h and 4500rpm!!! he goes from 0-160km/h without shifting!! and when he starts the revs go to 2500rpm then immediately fall to 2000rpm :) ))) 2nd gear starting, no doubt about it…

    you are so right bro even here in the United States they held these competitions in the mid 60’s till now ever since the 1st GTR was introduced to the US races which were track based races in mazda speed way laguna seca road atlanta etc.. it won them all for 8 years straight that GM ford n BMW decided to banned the GTR n so forth ever wonder why all Nissan even at your dealer they have them at a curb weight of 3200lbs and up? cause at low Curb weight Nissans destroy the competition.

    I love the part where tsuchiya screamed when he was on par with the gtr but it out accelerate him. He was going all out. U seldom see the drift king going 100% using every skill he had to minus the gap he had between the GTR and himself. that in my opinion was the best part of the video

    Most people just can’t accept the fact that, a 2nd tier Japanese Manufacture Nissan, made a supercar that smokes a lot of “supercar manufactures’s” car.

    Most people didnt know what Nissan did back in the late 80s, early 90s with their original GT-R. they smoked so many other “big name” manufactures, so much that they have to add couple hundred pounds to their cars everytime they race. Go figure.
